Step by step registration
Registering on the Decidim platform creates an account that will allow you to access all the possibilities of participation and interaction. Here are some guidelines to facilitate your registration.
You will be asked for :
A name: It is public and displayed on your profile as well as in the direct messaging system. In order to ensure anonymity, you may choose any name.
A pseudonym: This identifier is public and unique on the platform; it allows other users to follow you, to contact you or to mention you in their comments. It will be displayed preceded by an "@"; it must not contain any space or special character, only letters, numbers, underscore ( _ ), hyphens ( - ) are accepted
Your personal e-mail address
A password that must include :
- Minimum number of characters = 10
- Maximum number of characters = 256
- Minimum number of different characters = 5
The password must be different from :
- User name
- User nickname
- Domain name of the platform
Then you will have to accept the terms of use of the platform and if you wish (we advise you to do so) check the box to receive the newsletter. This newsletter will inform you about the main news of the decision processes, the new meeting moments, the starting date of the next steps... In other words, it is a good source of information for any participant.
Once you have completed this step, you will see a message indicating that you have successfully registered and will receive a confirmation email. You must click on the confirmation link for your personal account to be created. You will then return to the platform and can start participating.
To do so, click on the login button, always on the top right of the homepage. As you can see in the image below, you will then need to enter your email and password before you can access your personal space.
